Luxury Oasis in Central VA

Listen, this is a niche post--you've been warned. BUT, if you're interested and live in Charlottesville, Richmond, or even DC there's a great little spot called Keswick Hall.

My wife and I started going here in 2021 right after its renovation, and it was great then, but they've really got their sea legs now. Located on a big golf course (if that's your thing) it's close enough to anything and far enough at the same time. Let's break down the amenities that matter:

Rooms: Modern Southern, amazing beds, excellent bathrooms (could use a bidet though!). Make sure you spring for a high floor if you can for the view.

Spa: Absolutely 5-star. Exquisite providers, full treatment rooms (sauna, shower, grooming supplies). The best thing is the atrium/post treatment chill out space. Gigantic windows overlooking the forest. You can come in every season and see wildlife, the wind dancing in the trees, and feel fully relaxed.

Bar: Excellent bartenders, cute space. There's a little library and a pool table, very cute.

Pool: I don't really do pools, but it looks nice :D

Restaurant: I think this restaurant is totally fine, but it's not too creative: safe country club staples.

This is the spot to escape for a few days, you can even take one of their town cars out if you don't want to drive your old Pontiac Vibe. I've gone here for celebrations, for escape, and for family--it's a great spot to have nearby!
